The International Pit Wrestling® Federation (IPWF®) is the governing body for Pit Wrestling® — setting the rules, sanctioning the bouts, and ranking the fighters who step into the pit. Less spectacle, more grit.

The Arena

The Pit — Isibaya® · Kraal®

Every bout is contested inside the Pit — known as the Isibaya® and the Kraal® — a rope-and-tire enclosure over sand. The design is a registered design with the CIPC (Companies and Intellectual Property Commission).

Isibaya® is the Zulu word for the traditional cattle kraal — the circular enclosure that inspired the Pit.
